A bit about drag queens

What I learned during this shoot: The money earned at these events is often for charities. In Denver, the queens perform for Colorado AIDS Project and other related organizations. The amount of time and effort put towards just getting ready is a valid and noble effort, in my opinion. Michael's metamorphosis into Mikayla took about 2 1/2 hours.
